Dr. Sabina Malla

Dr. Sabina Malla, a general dentist practicing in Massachusetts, has always carried Nepal close to her heart. After founding the Dhana Yoga Foundation to support underserved communities, she felt a deep alignment with Mission Aasha,an initiative rooted in compassion where you’re not just donating; you’re investing in someone’s future, someone’s dignity, someone’s dream. Having witnessed both struggle and privilege, she believes in using what she has to uplift others. Living her role as a mother, a Nepali, and a healthcare provider, she sees Mission Aasha as a way to bring hope home, and to remind every underserved person that they deserve a fair opportunity and chance in life.

Dr. Sabina Malla completed her dental degree from BPKIHS, Dharan, before moving to the U.S. in 2006. Over the past 14 years, she has built a successful practice in Massachusetts, but her heart has always stayed connected to where she belongs, her home, Nepal. That connection runs deep. She has always wanted to combine clinical excellence with compassionate care, especially for underserved populations. It's what inspired her to establish the Dhana Yoga Foundation in 2018, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to serving underserved communities, especially those who are too often overlooked.

Her experience living abroad has broadened her view, not just as a healthcare provider, but as a mother, a Nepali, and someone who’s seen both struggles and privilege. She believes deeply that no one should be left behind simply because of where they were born or what resources they lack. That’s what drew her to Mission Aasha, a cause that reflects the values she lives by every day.

To her, Mission Aasha is not just about donating, it’s about investing in someone’s future, someone’s dignity, someone’s dream. She believes real change begins when we invest in the most vulnerable with care and intention, especially children and families who’ve never had fair opportunities. And she sees the Nepali diaspora as a bridge, carrying both the heart of Nepal and the resources to give back meaningfully. She believes in the phenomena of ripple effect where even one person’s effort can create a ripple of changes impacting many lives.

Dr. Malla’s message is simple but powerful: giving doesn’t require wealth, but the willingness to do it. Her support for Mission Aasha is a representation of who she is, and what she stands for. It’s her way of honoring where she comes from and helping create a future where no one has to be left behind.
