Daayitwa Nepal Public Policy Fellowship 2025

The theme of Daayitwa Nepal Public Policy Fellowship (DNPPF) 2025 centers on Nepal’s imminent graduation from Least Developed Country (LDC) status in 2026, a critical milestone that calls for stronger economic resilience, institutional agility, and innovation to offset the loss of trade privileges and international support.

The DNPPF serves as a catalyst for this transition, empowering youth to contribute to the nation’s constitutional vision of federalism and inclusive governance. By strengthening youth capacity in collaborative governance, the fellowship builds institutional resilience across federal, provincial, and local levels, preparing them to navigate complex post-LDC realities, from trade policy adaptation to mitigating vulnerabilities such as foreign employment dependence.

Moreover, DNPPF cultivates a community of policy entrepreneurs who channel youth creativity into actionable reforms, transforming potential migration pressures into domestic impact. By aligning youth empowerment with constitutional federalism, DNPPF not only mitigates graduation risks but also harnesses Nepal’s demographic dividend, promoting an inclusive, enterprising transition anchored in equitable governance and sustainable economic transformation.
