REAP Outstanding 5 Entrepreneurs 2019- Tilottama
The Outstanding 5 Entrepreneurs were selected on the basis of combined scores from Udhyam Chautari, Bookkeeping and other criterias, and Jury Visit scores. The Outstanding 5 Announcement event was held on December 19, 2019 at the municipality office, Tilottama in the presence of the Mayor, Mr. Basudev Ghimire as the Chief Guest. The chief guests presented a token of appreciation to the Outstanding 10 and certificates and seed funds to the Outstanding 5 while thanking them for bringing honor to the municipality. Out of the selected Outstanding 5, two are women and three are men. Similarly, one entrepreneur falls under the tourism sectors while the rest fall under agriculture sector.
Business Model Canvas for Outstanding 5 Entrepreneurs
REAP team conducted one-day Business Model Canvas training for the Outstanding 5 entrepreneurs on January 7, 2020 at Hotel Crown, Tansen. The course was aimed to support the entrepreneurs to understand their business in the present context consisting of their business’ stakeholders, activities, expenses and revenue, and value proposition. The goal of the course is to help the entrepreneurs to prepare business plan for the last round of selection. The team also followed up on the entrepreneurs to make further improvements on their business model.
Leadership Course for Outstanding 5 Entrepreneurs
A three-day leadership training was provided to the Outstanding 5 entrepreneurs on February 3, 4 and 5, 2020 at Rose Resort, Tansen by Nepal Leadership Academy on behalf of REAP team. The course was provided to the entrepreneurs of Tansen and Tilottama together. The goal of the course is to enable the entrepreneurs to run their business better by building their capacity, softskills, risk taking ability and understand leadership in an unconventional way.
