Saroj Acharya is an Engineer at the District Technical Office, Ramecchap.
He graduated as a Civil Engineer from Pulchowk Campus. He is also a Council Member in US Embassy Youth Council 2015. As an IT enthusiast, he desires to improve the efficiency of bureaucracy through e-Governance.
Santosh Paudel has been working as an Orthopedics and Trauma Surgeon at the National Trauma Centre since October 2014. He completed his MS-Orthopedics & Trauma Surgery from National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bir Hospital, and his MBBS degree from Manipal College of Medical Sciences, KU. Santosh is the founder and admin of the social media group ‘Doctors Society of Nepal’, a common platform for Nepali Medical doctors which has 10,666 active members. He was also the Coordinator of Poor Patients Fund in Manipal Teaching Hospital and General Secretary of Postgraduate Doctor’s Welfare Council, Resident Association of NAMS. Santosh has been in charge of the Emergency Medical Team of the Ministry of Health and Population to Dolakha district after the devastating earthquake of May 12, 2015.
Lakky Sherpa holds a Master degree in Management from Shankar Dev Campus and a Bachelor Degree in Law from Nepal Law Campus. She has been working in the Ministry of Home Affairs as an Administrative Assistant from the year 2010.
Achala Dahal is currently working as the Director of Nepal Administrative Staff College. She is pursuing a Mphil in Public Administration, and has a Master’s in Business Administration. She has also worked as an operation manager in Eco-vision Pvt.Ltd. Achala wants to work in a leading position so that any initial steps that she takes for a progressive change can be a visible and viable in the future. Besides working in an institutional organization she wants to be an entrepreneur too. She hopes to inspire the young generation to see how an individual can be good at more than one profession if they have the passion to work hard.
Susan Vaidya is District Member of the Nepali Congress. He holds a Bachelor degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from Kathmandu Engineering College. He joined Team Consultants as a Project Architect in 2007 and is currently working there as an Executive Architect. Susan also served as an Executive Member of Nepal Engineers Association (NEA) in 2011. In 2014, he was awarded with the Outstanding Youth Professional Award for his academic and professional achievements, and for his contribution for the overall development in the field by NEA.
Nabina Lama is pursuing her Bachelor degree in Political Science and Sociology at Padma Kanya Campus, Tribhuvan University. She is currently the General Secretary of CPN( UML)-ANNFSU. Nabina has been actively involved in student movements since 2055 B.S. As part of the student movement she was actively engaged in the protest for Nationalism, Border-security ( Sustha), Motherland Message as well as the right to ensure 50 percent discount for students on public vehicles. Nabina also contributed to the document to better Nepali education policy ( with experts). She was actively involved in the people’s movement and during the process was imprisoned for two months. In the next five years, Nabina aspires to be the President of the Central Committee of ANNFSU and to be elected to the House of Representative.
Bishal Khadka, is the currently serving as the State Committee Secretariat Member of UCPN ( Maoist) as well as the Central Committee Secretariat Member of ‘Nepal National Intellectual Committee.’ He also stood as the candidate for the Constituent Assembly Election, Dolakha-1. Besides his political engagement, Bishal serves as the chairperson of Hamro Radio 103.4 MHZ. He has written a few books titled “Nepali Kranti ra Naya Bichar (2064)”, “Smritika Panama Shahid Rit Bahadur Khadka (2067)”, and “Naya Dhanga ko Party (2068)”. A political activist since 2052 B.S., he was involved in the People’s War and in the process also served seven years (2052-2062 B.S) in prison.
Binay Panjiyar is a final year medical student at MMC IOM. He is also working as the Director of HEPA Nepal, President at IMSS, and President at NMDSA. As part of his social initiative, Binay has been actively involved in post earthquake relief, working with the relief team from Thailand and the organization, Sons of Buddha.
Anup Uprety is currently doing his MBBS internship at Tribhuvan University, Teaching Hospital. He completed his MBBS degree from IOM, Maharajgunj. Anup is also working a coordinator in field of research exchange at IOM. He also served as the Vice President and President of Nepal Student Union, IOM. Till date he has been involved in awareness raising programs conducted by Knight Class Club, Jhapa, and various health camps.
Sudhir Dhungel is a Human Resource(HR) specialist currently working as the Corporate HR Head at NIMBUS that provides management and consultancy support in the areas of Human Resource, marketing, admin, and other functions to companies under its management and outside. In addition to working with private entities in Nepal, he worked as a part time lecturer at South Asian Institute of Management, and Unique College of Management. He was also the Program Director of Bikalpa. Before joining NIMBUS, he worked at New Business Age (P) Ltd, and Chaudhary Group. Sudhir holds a Masters degree in Management from South Asian Institute of Management (SIAM) with a concentration in Human Resource, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information System from Apex College.
Shivanth started his career at Deloite Touche Tohmatsu, in emerging markets and development consultancy in London in 2005. He returned to Nepal in 2007, working for Nepal Investment Bank as the department head of Research & Development, where he worked to establish the banks Micro finance, Capital Markets and Financial Outreach programs. Shivanth is currently the founding CEO of NIBL Capital, one of the first fully fledged investment banks in Nepal. He also happens to be the youngest CEO in the financial sector in Nepal. NIBL Capital provides corporate finance, bond and equity finance, and advisory. NIBL Capital also provides Mutual funds management and Portfolio management services. Shivanth is also the founder and on the board of M! Nepal, a social venture initiated to facilitate banks and micro finance companies extend outreach of financial products to the unbaked poor, both urban and rural.
Mala Thapa Magar is the Managing Director of Himalayan Allo Udhyog, an enterprise that works for the promotion of Allo or Stinging Nettle. A graduate of Sociology, she decided to start this natural fibre business when she came to know about it from a acquaintance while volunteering at a school for orphans. Mala is passionate about developing a strong brand for Allo clothing in the international market.

company.He is one of the board of directors of the Company.
Sumeera Shrestha holds a Masters degree in Development Economics from University of Warsaw and a Bachelor degree in development studies from Kathmandu University. She is working actively for social inclusion,
gender and human rights with management, mobilization of community at grassroots level, advocacy at policy level with thorough research.Through her work Sumeera works closely with GBV survivors, conflict affected women, girls and single women. As part of her volunteering work, she has been serving in the Rotaract clubs both in university and community for decade.Currently Sumeera is serving as President of RAC Baneshwor Royal, RID 3292 Nepal and Bhutan.
Shailendra is a graduate from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen, Germany in Information and Communications Engineering. He started his career from Microsoft MDP Nepal in 2009 where his team first introduced the Microsoft Student Partner concept in Nepal. He served as the first Vice-President of Information Technology Society, Nepal. Having worked in organizations like Brain Works Learning Solution Center P Ltd, and Janakpur Engineering College, he has had hands on experience in the academic and private sector of Nepal. Currently, he is working as a Recruitment and Selection Manager at Teach for Nepal.
Kripa holds a Master’s degree in politics, specializing in international relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University along with B.Com (Hons)from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. She works as a Program Manager at Hamro Chahana Nepal to promote better education, health and sustainable income generation. She is currently working on reconstruction and rebuilding lives in Dolakha district. As staunch feminist, she wants to establish links and foster collaborations between various movement(s) to build leadership and capacity of South Asian groups, organisations,activists and other actors in the field of human rights and economic justice.
Brabim Kumar K.C is a Media person, youth activist, social entrepreneur and the President for Association of Youth Organizations Nepal. He was the founder president of Creative Youth Society, a non-profit, non-political organization empowering youth to act on making positive changes in society. Brabim writes regularly for various national dailies specially on socio-political & Media related issues. He is also a poet whose works have been published in various national and regional magazines. Till date, Brabim has published two poetry collections.
Kanchan Pd. Kharel is a social work graduate and Master’s in Development Studies. He is currently working as the President of YUWA and Director of Center for Youth Studies (CYS). He works with youth and relates their issues to the bigger development agendas. He is a social activist and critic of development issues and process. In past, he has worked as a youth coordinator of Amnesty International Nepal, Kathmandu Network and National Human Rights Foundation.
Amuda Mishra is the Founder and Executive Director of Ujyalo Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on sustainable development and community empowerment in Nepal. Prior to Ujyalo Foundation, Amuda founded Project Ujyalo as a part of her Clinton Global Initiative- Commitment to Action program in 2013, which focused on lighting up underprivileged communities in Birgunj using recycled plastic bottles. This initiative is what led to the establishment of Ujyalo Foundation. Amuda graduated with an M.P.H degree from the University of Colorado-Denver in 2013. In 2011, she was titled Miss Unity via Miss Asian American Colorado Leadership program. Amuda also works as a freelance leadership and communications trainer and is actively involved with National Banking Institute
