Governance Initiative

Daayitwa nurtures a movement of young public leaders who create governance innovations to tackle systemic issues in governance. The selected young Nepalese professionals and students from all across the globe are placed as Fellow in public agencies and/or with parliamentarians for the duration of 3-6 months to generate specific deliverables in high-priority government projects starting from project design to implementation. Daayitwa has also partnered with the Government of Nepal and Harvard professors to create a Governance Lab (GLab), which aims to nurture technical and leadership capacity of public officials for enhanced implementation and impact. GLab uses Problem Driven Iterative Adaptation (PDIA) approach developed at Harvard to support public officials in implementing innovative solutions to debottleneck issues in public projects.
