Aarju Basnet Aarju Basnet Aarju Basnet, a 3rd year Civil Engineering student at Pulchowk Engineering Campus is the quintessential bookworm. Her vision of creating an accountable Nepal, and keen interest in inculcating healthy politics drives her to engage in vigorous debates on contemporary issues. When she finds time from her hobby of public speaking, she loves to engage in avid travelling.
Anisha Bhatta Adhikari Anisha Bhatta Adhikari Anisha Bhatta Adhikari is a Travel and Tourism Management graduate from Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM). She has been contributing to the tourism sector as a freelance tour guide for a year and a half now. Anisha’s high interest in exchanging ideas, innovating and working with youths to bring about positive attitudinal changes stems from her desire to catalyze social welfare.
Anita Poudel Anita Poudel Anita Poudel is an MBA graduate from Ace institute of Management. She is a person who places high value in compassion, sincerity and hard work. Currently, she is involved in emergency response operation of World Food Program, Nepal where she assists in their logistics operation. Shift in an attitude from “blaming others” to “creating and leading others” is something she hopes to instill among the youths of her community by being an example herself.
Anuj Jung Thapa Anuj Jung Thapa Eternally upbeat individual with professional demeanor, Anuj Jung Thapa is a top performing customer relations professional with 6 years of experience in the so mentioned field. Organized and diligent, Anuj is also an aspiring entrepreneur whose current aspiration is to accelerate as an entrepreneur by inspiring events to develop himself by meeting like-minded people.

An agricultural Science student at IAAS, Anupama Sharma is an executive member at Agriculture Student Liaison Forum. A massive travel adorer, Anupama has been working on human rights, gender equality and sexual and reproductive rights issues as an active activist of Amnesty International Nepal and is the recipient of Global Training of Trainers on Sexual and Reproductive Rights organized by Amnesty International at London.

Beeju Paudel  is a master level student of  watershed management in Institute of Forestry, Pokhara campus. As being an executive member of the INGO SeedTree , she has keen interest on doing research on the natural resources management field with special focus on the women’s contribution.

Bhawana Rijal is a forestry science student of Institute of Forestry, Pokhara. Passionate about wildlife and their behavioral study, Bhawana has an avid  interest in environment conservation and promoting eco-friendly behavior at local level. Furthermore, she also works as an ambassador in Tunza-eco generation.

Binod Tamang Sangbo is a 28 years post graduate Management  student from Bhaktapur Multiple Campus (T.U). A youth with enthusiasms, passion and excitement , he really looks forward to work with USYC. He loves art, reading, traveling , listening music, watching movie, news,views, debates on social issues and keeps update. He has been working as Thanka Artist since 1998. He is an atheist, who believes in eastern philosophy, eastern culture and it’s norms and values. He is interested in involving as a youth to initiate, encourage, motivate, direct, lead toward contemporary issues and problems faced by today’s youth.

Bishal Dulal is a visually impaired  social activist and  a board member of Disability Media Foundation (DMF). A graduate of Arts with major in Sociology and Rural development, Bishal is a dynamic youth with an aim to change the society for better. He is also a pioneer in promoting disable friendly infrastructures.

Digamber Pant is a graduate of Business studies from Tribhuvan University He also has extensive experience on drug abuse and rehabilitation of users. Optimistic and hardworking, Digamber aspires to uplift the lives of rural communities of the nation.

Dipak Bayalkoti Dipak Balyakoti Dipak Balyakoti is currently a Law student at Nepal Law Campus. As a student of International Trade Law, he is with a conviction that the value of investment in high-tech industries, innovative business and effective trade transaction brings positive wave to the nation. Highly inspired by his late Father, Dipak is a firm believer of “Hard work, Integrity and Honesty”.
Gaganshila Khadka Gaganshila Khadka Gaganshila Khadka, is a student of Education at Resunga Multiple Campus, Gulmi. She is a Distirct Reporter of Nayapatrika National daily and has received various awards for her works as a journalist. The first female journalist from her district, Gaganshila is currently the
President of Sancharika Samuha, Gulmi. Besides that, she is also a central committee member of Press Chautari Nepal.
Govinda Mahato Govinda Mahato Govinda Mohato is a student of Arts from Tribhuvan University. He has worked as a co-editor of Gaushala times weekly and also as a reporter of Janakpur express daily. Very dynamic and vibrant in nature, Govinda really likes to deliver his valuable efforts in the field of journalism.
Hari Jung Thapa Hari Jung Thapa Hari Jang Thapa , a 21 years old youth is persuading his bachelor’s 3rd year in Broadcasting Journalism and English in Ratna Rajya Campus. He has a keen interest on reading books, particularly literature and bio-graphs of social workers/ change makers. He has been working as a volunteer at South Asia’s first community radio ‘Radio Sagarmatha’ for more than a year. After an experience of 3 years in that radio, he had run a new community Radio Chomolongma from Solukhumbu as a program chief. He is interested in searching positive issues of society and motivates society to be positive by means of broadcasting and online media.
Jamuna Kharel Jamuna Kharel Jamuna Kharel is a Management (Finance) from Madhayabindu Multiple Campus. An avid book lover, Jamuna has a keen interest in working for the rights of children. Currently, she is working with various youth clubs like Jagriti Child and Youth Concern Nepal and Restless Development. I have only one year of effectively working experience with youth. She is interested in creating an exemplar platform for youth to develop their Leadership and innovative ability and I want to see youth were leading the country and youth have a creative mind and they were being self dependence.
Jayanti Mala Chapagain Jayanti Mala Chapagain Founder of Spiker Solutions, an IT company, Jayanti Mala Chapagain is a web programmer and also a final year student of BScIT. She is an active participant of different IT related events in Nepal and has a massive interest in social service and travelling.
 Karsang Karsang Lama Karsang Lama is a Sociology graduate from Padma kanya multiple campus. She has a keen interest in travelling and tour and wants to travel all over the Nepal. Always ready to serve the needy ones, Karsang believes more in helping hands rather than praying lips. She has always been engaged in several women empowerment related program launched by FINGO BAYOCA-NEPAL.
Kartikesh Jha Kartikesh Jha Kartikesh Jha is a final year Civil Engineering Student at Institute Of Engineering, Pulchowk. Disaster Risk management are his prime sector of interest. Recently Kartikesh has been involved in construction of temporary shelters and temporary learning center (TLC) at several places for earthquake victims.
Kaushal Ghimire Kaushal Ghimire An English literature graduate from Tribhuvan University, Kaushal Ghimire is a versatile person who is currently working as an English news editor/presenter at Radio Nepal. He also freelances news stories and articles for different of the English national dailies. Kaushal foresees himself as a successful journalist, promoting social justice and inclusion through his profession.
Kavita Chapagain Kavita Chapagain Kavita is a motivated , energetic and dedicated student of social work graduate from Reliance College and currently doing LLB in Nepal Law campus. She has fieldwork and Internship experience in different Social organization like CWIN- Nepal, ABC Nepal, Youth Initiative and WWF Nepal. She is past president of Rotaract club of Reliance college and is now working as a capacity building Himalayan Innovative Society . She loves reading novels and social work .

Kiran Khanal

Kiran Khanal Kiran is currently studying Master in Media Technology (MMT) at the Purbanchal University, and is working as a Social Activist in Society of Aware Student (SAS) Nepal as a Regional Coordinator. He is directly involved with the Saurya Group of Institution, Kathmandu for its Dynamic Schooling Program (DSP). He is the Director of Horizon Multi Media, one of the reputed media production house in Nepal, Computer Science Teacher for the grade 11 and 12 (HSEB), Event Manager of Mathematics of Olympiad of Nepal (MOON). His interest is youth entrepreneurship, media training, youth movement etc.
Laxman Shrestha Laxman Shrestha Laxman Shrestha is a student of Sociology from Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus. Vibrant and dynamic Laxman has been engaging himself in different social welfare activities for the past 5 years , which includes working with and for deprived sector people, underprivileged children , and also has worked in the area of human and woman rights.
Madan Poudel Madan Poudel President and webmaster at Agri- Youth Nepal (youth-led network for sensitizing youth and ICTs in Agriculture development), Madan Poudel passionate youth doing his bachelor’s in Agriculture at Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU). Having a sound knowledge in the field of graphic designing and video editing, Madan is also a free lance website designer. Raised in the agrarian community of Syangja , he also has an experience of organizing national level online photo contest on the theme “Family Farming” organized by YPARD Nepal.
Manju Gautam Manju Gautam Manju Gautam is a youth, social activist and human rights defender. Academically she is an MBA graduate majoring in human resource management. Beside her involvement at FNB Nepal, she is currently associated with DHL as a Customer Service Country Manager and previously associated with Standard Chartered Bank as a Customer Service Manager. Ms. Gautam is a founder member and treasurer of Forum for Nation Building Nepal (FNB Nepal) and Adviser of Kathmandu Don Bosco Alumni since May 2012. She was also associated with Laxmi Pratisthan, an NGO as a founding Vice President since December 2009 to Feb 2012. She has been associated with various voluntary and social welfare activities including human rights, development and youth rights.
Meghna Lama Meghna Lama Meghna lama is a Transgender female working as human rights advocate for LGBTI. She is strongly involved in modeling field and is well known as a transgender model from Nepal after winning the Miss Transgender Nepal (miss pink) at 2010. She has represented Nepal at international platform (miss international queen). She is a social worker by interest who not only helps and works for the welfare of LGBTI communities, but also for disadvantaged and minorities group. Diligent Meghna also has her own restaurant called “Pink Tiffany” , which made a history in Nepal as it is the very first restaurant in the country opened by a transgender.
Mohammad Najir Husen Mohammad Najir Husen Mohammad Najir Husen is an enthusiastic actor and also a board member of Mandala Theater Nepal, Theater group. ” Jumping Frog”, ” Degree Maila”, “Matha Puncher”, ” Junge”, and ” Hostel Returns” are some of the theaters productions and feature films in which he has stared. Besides acting, multifaceted Mohammad is also a student of Sociology and Nepali Literature and is passionate about Contemporary Ballet.
Nawang Thora Sherpa Nawang Sherpa 24 years old Nawang Sherpa is a Teach For Nepal fellow. He has the experience of working with the Blue Diamond Society and was the student volunteers’ leader at the Sexual and Gender Minorities Student Forum Nepal. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Social Work and Psychology from the Xavier Int’l College and aspires to contribute for the nation’s development through his valuable efforts.
Om Kumar Sah Om Kumar Sah Om Kumar Sah is a student of Structural Engineering at IOE Central Engineering Campus, Pulchowk . He is also the Secretary of Structural Engineering Students Society. Ardent about research, Om is doing structural research on Bamboo. He was also the Co- Coordinator for campaign on “Earthquake Risk in Nepal and Need for Preparedness” and a Joint Venture of Rotaract and Rotary District-3292.
Pragyan Bhattarai Pragryan Bhattarai Pragyan Bhattarai is a civil engineer by profession with more than 2 years experience in research and finding.He is also working for promoting Green concept in Nepal. He have worked as a research engineer of Basha Research Corporation, Singapore. He have published more than 8 Research Papers in the field of Civil Engineering in Reputed International Journals of the World. He holds Associate editor post of International Journal of Engineering Research and General Science. He also has been felicitated with many awards as Young Entrepreneur Award, Best Research Paper Award and many more.
Pritha Paudyal Pritha Paudyal A good listener and an optimistic human being, Pritha Paudyal is a student of development studies who believes in learning by doing and is always looking for ways to learn new things and gain new experiences. She is currently enrolled in ‘Masters in Development Studies’ program of Kathmandu University School of Arts. Besides, she is working as a ‘Journalism trainee’ at ‘Karobar Economic Daily’.
Ranjan Kumar Sahi Ranjan Kumar Sahi An enthusiastic youth activist, Ranjan Kumar Shahi is a student of Political science and Law. He is working as a Program Coordinator and Secretary of Mission Nepal, Chartered President and Director of Leo Club of Biratnagar Young Heart, President of National Civil Society and Vice President of Human Rights for Justice and Development. He is also the C.E.O. of Capital International Investment Company (CIIC) Pvt. Ltd. and Manager of Capital Saving & Credit Co. Ltd.
Renuka Dhakal Renuka Dhakal Renuka Dhakal is a Master’s degree graduate in education from Kathmandu University. She is passionate about social change and believes in equality. She has been working in an NGO called Helambu Education and Livelihood Partnership in order to be a catalyst in the education sector of rural areas of Nepal.
Romee Giri Romee Giri Romee Giri is a final year student of Business Administration. She is the 3rd Dan of taekwondo player and also a National Referee. Ever dignified, Romee has also worked as a treasurer of Women empowerment committee, under Nepal Taekwondo association. She was also the representative of Nepal on 14th youth leadership camp of UNOSDP held on Japan. Further more, she was actively involved with LEED group on WWF’s Nepal (The Green Generation mission), Nepal Taekwondo academy /National and international players association during Earthquake and on Bagmati Preservation mission.
Sagar Dhakal Sagar Dhakal Sagar Dhakal is a Mechanical Engineer and is currently doing his Maters in Energy System – Planning & Management from Pulchowk Campus . He has published several research papers in renowned scientific journals and has given presentations in international and national scientific conferences. He has published 8 books from +2 to bachelor level and till date 25,000 books are sold . Since 4 years he has been teaching to thousands of students yearly and is also invited for motivational and career counseling classes at different orientation programs.
Sandhya Joshi Sandhya Joshi Sandhya Joshi is a Public Health student from Maharajgunj Medical Campus, IOM. She is also a part-time musician and a proactive volunteer as well. Multi- talented Sandhya hopes to bring positive changes in the society through her volunteering efforts.

Saroj Acharya Saroj Acharya Saroj Acharya is an engineer at Department of Local Infrastructure Development and Agriculture Roads (DoLIDAR) and currently working at District Technical Office, Ramechhap. He also worked as an engineer at Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC). As an IT enthusiast he has also been working to make the government institutions more efficient through e-Governance.
Saroj Prasad Poudel Saroj Prasad Paudel Saroj Prasad Paudel holds a master degree in Mass communication from Ratna Rajya Laxmi campus. He is the station manager of Krishi radio. the first and the only agricultural radio of Nepal .He wants to change the agriculture sector through the means of communication . He has 11 years of experience in journalism and more than 8 years of experience working with farmers and in agricultural sector.
Saujan Gyawali Saujan Gyawali Saujan Gyawali, an extrovert undergrad student of Business Administration at Liberty College (Pokhara University). “Book For All” was his first initiative project, establishment of library in community schools and he worked as Program Coordinator and also nominated as Nation Top 30 Public Speaker by United Nations Volunteer (UNV’s) in Nepal 2014. He was focal person and gave Training Course on Earthquake Risk Reduction to the staffs of FNCCI Kathmandu; this program was by United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Nepal 2015 and supported by US Embassy Kathmandu. In the field of volunteerism he already worked as volunteer on UN Day and also with Election Commission Nepal. Currently Mr. Gyawali, is taking “Leadership Site License One Year Program” by New York Times in Education and also an Executive Member of Global Chamber Kathmandu.

Highly active social worker and a brilliant public speaker, Shail has won national and international awards in various public speaking contests. She has also been actively involved in promoting women’s rights and justice. Furthermore she has worked with various organisations like Maaiti Nepal, UNICEF, Restless Development, Youth Initiative and is the vice president of Leo Club of Kathmandu Central Town (2016/17)
Shailendra Sah Shailendra Sah Shailendra Sah is Social Work graduate from St. Xavier’s College and is currently pursuing his Masters’ in International Relation and Diplomacy (TU). He has been working as Out-Reach Program Coordinator and Student’s Academic Counselor in St. Xavier’s College, Maitighar- Kathmandu for more than one year. Energetic and versatile Shailendra has a keen interest in adventurous activities.
Shraddha Acharya Shraddha Acharya Shraddha Acharya is currently pursuing her Bachelors’ degree in Public Health at Maharajgunj Medical Campus, Institute of Medicine (IOM). She is a highly devoted enterprising youth who foresees herself as one of the influential change makers of the country. She has directly and indirectly worked with a lot of organizations mainly promoting women’s rights, public health and youth issues. She believes that optimum level of health could only be achieved by preventing and promoting health, and not just by curing the disease or condition. She also owns a preeminent passion for writing and poetry and has lately completed writing a novelette..

Moreover, he has shown his entrepreneurial ability by establishing Bidhee Pvt Ltd; an IT based company working on Mobile Apps Development.
Sumit Dugar Sumit Dugar Graduate in Risk and Environmental hazards from Durham University with a Civil Engineering background , Sumit Dugar is a zealous youth who is involved in interdisciplinary projects , especially disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation, with a focus on community flood resilience. His interests include listening to music, hiking and cycling.
Sundar Bahadur Sheni Sunday Bahadur Sheni Sundar Bahadur Sheni is professionally a Legal Department Officer of Prabhu Management Pvt. Ltd. He is a Graduate of Sociology and Rural Development from Tri-Chandra College and LLB from Kathmandu School of Law. He has been involved in various youth activities by engaging with school chapters of Red Cross and INSEC. Executive Board Member of Dalit Youth Alliance, Sundar also has a substantial interest in dancing.
Supral Raj Joshi Supral Raj Joshi Supral Raj Joshi is a Masters degree student of International Relations and Diplomacy. He is currently a radio presenter at Radio Kantipur and is a creative executive at Echo Advertising Agency. The very versatile Supral thinks that young people in Nepal are capable of making a positive difference, and all they need is some proper guidance and direction. As for his interests, he is a fervent book lover and has an avid interest in singing. He also has an extreme interest in modern technology.
Suresh Sapkota Suresh Sapkota Suresh Sapkota is a dyanamic and vibrant youth from Syangja who holds an MBA in Banking and Insurance and instructs the students of Business Administration as well. He is also involved in theater activities in terms of acting and management issues. Ibsen lab, Prayogshala, Mitjyu and Encounter in Umbugland were the plays he acted in .
Susma Bhatta Susma Bhatta Susma Bhatta is an undergraduate student of BBA at NCM. She is passionate about anchoring, travelling,photography and singing. She has worked as a RJ/VJ at Nepaliko radio 88.8 and Himalaya television for more than two years. She believes in simplicity and for her socialization matters the most.

Tam Bahadur Tam Bahadur B.K Tam Bahadur B.K is a Master’s level Art student from Tribhuvan university and also a student of LLB 1st year. Reading history, literature and IT related books and articles are his interests. Being the President of Dalit Student Union at Tribhuvan University for almost a year, he has been working with many youths, majorly focusing on the different issues of Dalit students.
Tshering Sherpa Tshering Sherpa Tshering Sherpa, from Solukhumbu is an academic top –notcher student of BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) at Thames International College. He is the founder of Sherpa for Change and currently recognized as “Sherpa Youth of The Year 2016”. He had been serving in several community based organization such as Member of Rotaract Club of Thames International College, Member of Thames Management Club organizations , Member of Nepal Sherpa Student Forum and also Member of Cherem Youth society (a village development oriented organization). He has participated on significant number of national, international conferences and workshops based on leadership, communication, and culture etc. Sherpa is a very good basketball player, and he has traveled almost half of the trekking destinations in Nepal. His youthful looks should not be underestimated because his passion and commitment for youth leadership is now a catalyst for change. His leadership dynamo is gaining more momentum as he continues to serve to bring change to the youth in his community.
Upakar Pandey Upakar Pandey Currently working as an Executive member of YATRA, Upakar Pandey is a determined and energetic youth who is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Development Finance from National College, Center for Development Studies. He is a research enthusiast and has carried out research related activities related to environment and entrepreneurship in the past. Also, he is eminently interested in singing, travelling and observing different landscapes and people. He has actively been involved in the development sector over the past 3 years in line with community/environmental projects, residential activities, outdoor education and sporting activities.
