Triveni Chand is immensely passionate about making a positive and sustainable difference in any possible ways. She graduated cum laude in Bachelor in Art with major in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and a minor in Development Studies, from the Asian University for Women, Bangladesh. She is also an IKEA scholar for the year 2016. Triveni worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Emily Stull, for ‘Intensive Studies on the Involvement of Regional Organizations and Peacekeeping Forces during Civil Wars around the World’. She is also one of the Co-authors of the quantitative research that explored media influence on election violence in Bangladesh. Recently, she participated as a Youth Delegate in the World Educational Tour- 4th South Asia Human Rights Summit-2016, Lucknow, India organized by YH International. She presented on the right to standard health and well-being, and issue of women’s rights and equality, highlighting her summer project experience on responsive feeding in Nepal and as part of the AUW Speak-Up Club.
Triveni will be working on the project- ‘Enhancing the role of local public agencies and leveraging information and skill development for enterprise promotion in Ramechhap’.
