Swadeepa Bohora


Swadeepa holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA), specializing in nonprofit management and leadership from Seton Hall University, New Jersey. She was a Seton Hall Leadership Fellow (Spring 2015) and a recipient of Center for Public Service Scholarship and Dean’s Scholarship. She received her Bachelors in International Relations, focusing on International Political Economy and Business Management from Brigham Young University, Utah. Swadeepa supports Ashoka’s “everyone’s a changemaker” and believes that every individual can learn and apply skills of empathy, teamwork, and leadership to be successful. She is interested in private sector development and market-based approach to reduce poverty. To help create an enabling environment and reduce barriers to doing business, she hopes to influence private sector actors to increase their involvement in development through her work.

Swadeepa will be working on the project- ‘Innovation in economic policy to accelerate the growth of rural SMEs,’ with the Ministry of Finance.
