Sohan Prasad Sha
SOHAN PRASAD SHA is a PhD candidate in interdisciplinary areas of study at Centre for Studies in Science Policy, Social of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. He has previously worked with the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (New Delhi) and contributed the articles in range of interests like contemporary political developments, politics in the tarai/ Madhesh region and geo-politics of Nepal. Recently, he has also contributed to environment justice atlas of EJOLT project supported by European commission. His current academic research extended to public policy, sociology of knowledge production, political economy, institutions and development issues of Nepal. His PhD research is on innovation studies in which he is conducting a comparative study of Nepal with selected economy of South Asia and East Asia to contextualize the development of science, technology and innovation for endogenous capacity building, areas of cooperation and alternative policy learning model for least developed nations.
