RASANI SHRESTHA completed her Undergraduate studies with Major in Economics and Minor in Development Studies from Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh. She worked as an intern in Korean Export Import Bank in Seoul, Korea where she acted as a bridge between the Bank and the Nepalese Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Energy. In addition, she has also interned in Social Coordination/Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Section, Ministry of Urban Development where she helped in revising toolkits and checklists designed to encourage sensitivity of development projects to gender and social inclusion, and improving operational guidelines for promoting the office’s mission by conducting online research on similar programs. She has been a part of two summer projects related to Public Health. In today’s increasingly interconnected world she believes that the bridging and building social capital can diversify the input and impact of any initiatives. She enjoys working in different fields but is mostly interested to work in the field of social science, film making and policy making.
