Nishesh Dhungana

Nishesh works as a Lecturer in Kathmandu University where he teaches Political Science, International Relations, Diplomacy, Peace and Conflict Studies. He also supports administration at Vice-Chancellor’s office and works as a Lecturer in Kathmandu School of Law where he teaches Political Science, International Relations, International Organizations, and Peace and Conflict Studies. He received his M.A in Political Science and International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi India and B.A in Political Science from Minnesota State University, Minnesota, USA. In both degrees, his concentration was Peace and Conflict Studies. His past job experiences includes being an Advisor/Consultant at International Foundation for Election Studies, when he worked closely with current Chief Election Commissioner Neil Kantha Uprety and researched various topics on post-conflict elections of different countries of the world. He has also worked as Researcher/Consultant at Academy for Education Development, a Washington-based organization, where has researched on various peace and conflict issues relevant to Nepal. He has also consulted for International IDEA, Nepal Center for Contemporary Studies, and Advocacy Forum.
