Juni Singh is an Economics student currently pursuing PhD in Economics at Paris School of Economics. Her research interests are in the field of Behavioral Economics and Development Economics. Before starting her PhD, she was working as a Consultant at the World Bank, Washington DC. She completed her Masters from Paris and Bachelors from St. Stephen’s College, India. She aims to work for better Public Policy in Nepal in the future through her research. She believes that with the correct set of incentives, effective policies can be designed. Daayitwa, she thinks is an excellent platform to understand the current structure of Nepali administration and a chance to work one-on-one with the administration. She also has the experience of working with the Poverty Alleviation Fund and ICIMOD in Nepal.
Juni will be working on the project- ‘Understanding the development planning process for increasing the quantity and quality of public expenditure’, with the National Planning Commission.
